About Lauren Bradway, Ph.D.

Dr. Lauren Bradway is a speech-language pathologist who has specialized in working with children for more than 25 years. In her private practice with children she observed that all of her young clients had a favored style of learning. Some learned best through visual stimulation; others, though sounds and speech; still others, through touch and movement. The three learning styles she refers to as Lookers, Listeners, and Movers.

In her book (co-authored with Barbara Hill), How to Maximize Your Child’s Learning Ability, Dr. Bradway shows parents how to identify their child’s inherent learning style from infancy through eighth grade. She then guides them in carefully selecting toys, games, software, and educational strategies to enforce talents a child was born with, and to strengthen skills that need improvement. The result? A happier, more self-assured child with greatly enhanced learning ability.

In addition to working with children and their families, Dr. Bradway consults with schools showing teachers how to develop and implement Individual Learning Style Profiles for Classroom use.

She lives in Neptune Beach, FL.
